Wood and Stone

Working with wood is a patient process, at the mercy of the shape, the grain and the season.  Using traditional hand wood working methods, forms and finishes capture the raw natural beauty of wood in shape, colour and touch, from walking sticks to sculptures, from Backgammon Board to Blue Tree.  Stones are a similarly raw and complex material with colours, grains and textures selected to compliment wood sculptures in their composition.
